West Roxbury has a new pizza shop, and it’s already the week’s story: Old Friend Pizza soft-opened Wednesday on Washington Street, with a shop-only seasonal debut — sweet potato skin, bacon pizza and sweet potato blondies — that you can only get at the shop, not the Substation. Elsewhere, Klin Thai’s Thai Omakase runs Friday through Sunday, Boston Ale House’s Game Day menu is confirmed for every NFL game day, and Halloween weekend brings a bash on Friday and a costume parade on Saturday.
